Hi there
I don't post so much now but I thought I'd leave a little something here
I'm taking part in the fabulous McShep match challenge over at
link to McShep Match work and play drabble treeIt's the epic sturggle between Work and Play
and I'm in team play, as are some other people who actually are amazing and fabulous, so hey we may well win.
Anyway we are currently taking part in this pretty amazing thing called a drabble tree and if you fancy a whole array of drabbles this is the place to look....And make a note because there will be a time when it would be really fanatastic if you voted for Team Play to win the drabble tree contest.
and as a little teaser here is one I wrote, actually I think this might very well be the first drabble I have ever written.....
Detective Sheppard had watched McKay like he’d watch a mark at the table. The man had no filter. Every thought written clear across his face like the worst kind of poker player. pretty strange for someone who worked for a secret organisation.
That last conversation, though, he hadn’t been able to place the look in his eyes at the end.
But as
he lay on the dry ground feeling strangely cold and peaceful while the dry desert air filled his lungs with sand he thought that expression might have been regret. Like McKay didn’t want to play the winning hand
And there are more I wrote too but you have to start climbing that tree to find them
